It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy P. Smith (Gadsden, Alabama), who passed away on March 31, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy M. Smith; her parents, Johnnie Proffitt and Ruby Proffitt; her nephew Wayne Proffitt Jr.; and her great-nephew Ben Bentley.

She is survived by: her sons, Jay Smith (Tina) and Johnny Smith; her grandchildren, Brittany Johnson (Josh), Zachary Smith and Ayden Smith; her great grandchildren, Lennon Johnson and Rylan Smith; and her siblings, Wayne Proffitt (Donna), Jean Petty (Jimmy) and Joan Weygand.
