She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Couch and Louie Mae Couch; and her siblings, Alonzo Couch, Nathaniel Couch, Jerry T. Couch and Elizabeth Ann Couch Ashley.

She is survived by: her husband Albert "Ted" Parris; and her children, Frances Parris Sanford (Daniel) and Donnie W. Parris (Lucretia). She is also survived by 1 granddaughter and 2 great-grandchildren.
