With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John F Floyd formerly of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on March 31, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jefferson Floyd and Frankie Floyd; and his former wife Dr. Connie Sturkie Floyd. He is survived by: his son John Frank Floyd Jr.; his wife Kimberly Floyd; his granddaughters, Breanna Elizabeth Floyd and Shelby Bayford (Sean); his great grandchildren, Bentley and Paisley; his sister Nanci Chazen (Steve); his nephews, Jack Chazen, David Sturkie and Henry D. Sturkie; and his niece Cheri Sturkie Grisham.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Big Oak Ranch for Boys and Girls or The E.A.G.L.E.S. Program at Auburn University.
