It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Dewayne Lipscomb of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Wanda Lipscomb; his son Jeremy Lipscomb; his parents, Howard Lipscomb and Gladys Lipscomb; his brother Bill Lipscomb (Linda); and his sister-in-law Linda Lipscomb.

He is survived by: his sons, Brian Lipscomb (Theresa) and Nathan Lipscomb; his grandson Damien Lipscomb; and his siblings, J. P. Lipscomb (Francis) and Betty McGowan (Tony).
