JoAnn Pruitt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Pruitt of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As JoAnn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved JoAnn. Though JoAnn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ramey; her daughter Sandra Pruitt; and her brother Mack of Bill, G. J.. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Joy Mize and Amy Stewart; her great grandchildren, Grant Mize, Caden Hill, Ethan Ellis and Dylan Ellis; her great great grandchild Abigail Mize; and her sister Nell Roberts. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Unity Baptist Church (800 Unity Church Rd, Attalla, AL 35954). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
