He was predeceased by: his mother Iva Nell Capes; his daughter Candy Breeden; his parents-in-law, Tom and Ida Hutt; his grandparents, Fred, Naomi Capes, Preston and Sarah Roden; his siblings-in-law, Alvin Veal, Terry Lipscomb and Sherry Lipscomb; and his nephews, Braden Capes and Gary Lipscomb.
He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Hutt Capes; his children, Jamie Stewart, John Breeden (Dawn) and Dana Vice (Jerry); his grandchildren, Hunter, Houston Edwards, Ty, Trey Stewart, Taylor Witt (Jarrod), Seth Goodwin (Sharia), Landon Breeden and Jackson Fielding; his great grandchildren, Makayla, Karter, Jayce and Torin; his siblings, Sharon Veal, Jeff Capes (Joanna), Randall Capes (Jina) and Karen Morrison (Phillip); his brother-in-law Tommy Hutt (Angie); his aunt Linda Armstrong; and his close friend Sadie Mae. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
