It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeneace Ashley (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Collinsville, Alabama, who passed away on April 21, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James Bee Ashley; her mother Nettie Kearly; her children, Charles Ashley, Arlie Ashley and Patricia Ashley Gaskin; her granddaughters, Renae Mckelvey (Mike), Michelle Gaskin Burge and Sonya Gowens Gadsden (Phil); and her great grandchild Wesley Burge. She was also cherished by 10 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, along with several Nieces and Nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials to be made to New Faith Church through the Exchange Bank.
