He was predeceased by: his father Jeff Alford; his brothers, Jeff Alford and Joey Alford; and his grandparents, Florabell Sims, Horace and Hazel Alford.

He is survived by: his daughters, Jordan Alford and Jody Alford; and his nieces, Jessica Cobb and Jamie Reid.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gadsden State Welding Program in his honor.
