Jane Miles Dake Bugg Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2023, at the age of 90, Jane Miles Dake Bugg formerly of Gadsden, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Tom Ben Dake, Sr.; her husband George Gordon Bugg; and her brother Tom Dake. She is survived by: her nephew Rev. George McLaurine; her children, George Gordon Bugg, Jr. (Debra) of Auburn, Gregory Matt Bugg (Lisa) of Severna Park and Glenda Gail Bugg (Gigi) of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Sarah Medlin Bugg, Miles Bugg, Mary Beth Bugg Sayre (Eric), Matt Bugg, George Bugg and Kaela Bugg; her great grandchildren, Cooper Sayre and Casen Sayre; her niece Patti Jacoway Dake of Auburn; her great-nephews, Ben Dake (Meagan) of Locust Fork and Will Dake (Kayla) of Opelika; her niece Julie Dake McLaurine (George) of Northport; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Douglas McLaurine (Beth) of Tuscaloosa, Amy McLaurine Yeh (David) of Tuscaloosa, Mary Kate McLaurine Condra (Adam) of Tuscaloosa and Billy McLaurine (Mary) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; her cousin Patricia Green (Sanders) of Loganville; and also, Marlee Sue, Parker James, Thomas Bennett Dake, Baker Benton Dake, Bailey, Sam, Cal, DJ, Waylon, Macs, Mitchell and Lucy Lawrence Condra. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.

Rather than flowers, the family suggests a memorial to the Howell Irwin Medical Fund at the First United Methodist Church, Gadsden, or your own favorite charity.
