He is survived by: his wife Peggy Louise Carpenter; his daughters, Luann Boozer (Ken) and Debbie Burgett (Donnie); his grandchildren, Meredith Boozer, Wesley Boozer, Amber Boner (Jason) and Stephanie Keaveny (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Anna Boozer and Eden Keaveny.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hokes Bluff Funeral Home (1901 Piedmont Cutoff, Gadsden, AL 35905). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
