He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Pearline Stallings-Dixon; his sons, Andre Marshall (Amanda) and James Earl Dixon; and his siblings, Glenda Ford, Gloria Chapman, Janice Dixon, Stalecia Rolley (Vincent), Michael Dixon, Sr. (Alisa) and Stanley Dixon. He was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives, and friends.
