He is survived by: his wife Shirley Smith Bobbitt; his children, Danny Bobbitt and Jana Brooks; his grandchildren, Jennifer Bedwell and Daniel Bobbitt; his great grandchildren, Colton Nelson, Jack Riley Brewer and Fisher Bedwell; his stepchildren, Cindy Smith Milam and Christopher Smith (Jennifer); his stepgrandchildren, Nikki Milam Pilkington (Keith), Chase Milam (Nozha), Madisyn Smith and Trevor Smith; his siblings, Helen Livingston (Clark), Delona Timbs (Mike) and Jerry Bobbitt; and his close friend Tommy Shields.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the Ball Play #1 Fire Department or the Etowah County Rescue Squad.
