He is survived by: his wife Wonza Denny Black; his children, Debbie Black Shallcross, Tommy Black, Mike Black (Susan) and John Black (Curtis); his grandchildren, Jaclyn Randal (Paul), Lauren Shallcross, Jennifer Boudreax (Zach), Cullen Black (Catherine) and Jordan Humphrey (Mason); his brother Herman "Bud" Black; and his friends, Barbara and Jerry Jones. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
