He is survived by: his wife Mary "Honey" McCain; his sons, Timothy McCain (Tracy) of Toronto and Jason McCain of Gadsden; his grandchildren, Cody, Randi, Hannah, Lukas, Levi and Caden; and his siblings-in-law, Linda, Debbie Kerr (Bradley), Joannie Patterson (Mark) and Charles Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
