She was predeceased by: her husband Chuck Brothers; and her parents, Dr. John R. Jones and Rosalie Jones. She is survived by: her son Rick (Laura); her granddaughter Amy Brothers; her great grandchild Lainey Mackey; her stepgrandsons, Steve Nelson (Tiffany) and John Nelson (Anna); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Liam, Adaleigh, Blaze, Mac and Kalea Nelson; her nephews, Steve Arrington, Richard Johnson, Jim Sims and Dair Goray; and her grandsons, John and Liam Nelson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Paden Baptist Church (900 Padenreich Ave, Gadsden, AL 35903-4149). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Crestwood Cemetery (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903).
