She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Brooks and Willie Mae Brooks (Wagnon); her husband Melvin Pete Brown; and her siblings, Elmer Brooks, Joe Brooks, Louise Marshall, Hubert Brooks, Hank Brooks and Lebert Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Peterson (Wayne) and Phillip Brown; her grandchildren, Jeff Peterson (Kim), Aimee Parker (David) and Zac Brown (Michele); her great grandchildren, Brayden Peterson, Nathan Parker, Samuel Parker, Harrison Brown and Sullivan Brown; and her sister Doris Miller.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Snead Funeral Home (170 Richman Dr, Snead, AL 35952). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:45 PM at the Of Christ Cemetery (126 Earl Snead Rd, Snead, AL 35952).
