She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Huie and Leila Huie; her former husband Lewis J. Abernathy; her daughter-in-law Cathy Jordan Abernathy; and her siblings, Jake Huie, Bill Huie and Mable Hoge.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Tolleson; her brother Jim Huie (Margaret) of Huntsville; and her children, Robert Abernathy (Donna) of Jacksonville, Thomas (Carol) of Suwanee, GA, Lisa Myers (Brent) of Mobile, Teresa Carr (Tab) of Gadsden and Connie Johnson (Earl) of Guntersville.
In lieu of flowers, Gladys requested donations be made to Way of the Cross, 101 N. 24th Street, Gadsden, AL 35904.
