He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas, and Helen Thomas, Sr.; his son Andre Leonardo Thomas; his granddaughter Anasha Ne'Cole Davis; his siblings, Rosie Woods, Maxine Thomas, Mildred Woody, Raymond Whorton, Sr., Richard "Falcon" Whorton, Robert Whorton, Sr. and Jimmy "Eggie" Thomas; his mother-in-law Henrietta Maull; and his brother-in-law Isaiah Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Thomas; his children, Cedric Lamont Thomas, Anthony Wayne Thomas and Monica Henrietta Thomas Jones; his siblings, John Thomas (Nikki), Carrie Stewart, Helen Thompson and Marlina Marshall; his son Samuel "Chub" Cox; his grandsons, Deroyal Andre Jones, Jr., Jacobi Rapheal Jones, Bernard Leonardo Thomas and Jaylan Kartez Taylor; his great grandchildren, Dre Marion Giavonte Jones, Jaeceon Javar Thomas and Ja'Kar Lee Kartez Taylor; his granddaughters, Dienesha Hickman, Terrmeisha McBride, Jada Lindsey and Jalesa Lindsey; and his siblings-in-law, Willie James Taylor, John Maull, Jr., Robert Maull and Dorothy Harris. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
