The memory of Freddie Minshew of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on December 8, 2024 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Duncan Minshew and Freddie Jackson Minshew, Sr.; his children, William Minshew and Gina Minshew Owens; his stepson Greg Fuller; and his siblings, Gerald Minshew, Joy Sims and Judie Beggs.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Minshew; his daughter-in-law Marty; his brother Joe Yother; his grandsons, Jarrett Minshew, Zac Fuller (Allyson), Cory Fuller (Haley) and Adam Fuller (Maghan); his great grandchildren, Zoey, Ella, Collins, Henry, Max and Wyatt Fuller; and his sister-in-law Kathy Minshew. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Crestwood Funeral Home (2209 E Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35903). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or a favorite charity in Jack's memory.
