She was predeceased by: her husband James Edwin Petty; her daughter Susan Moore; her parents, George, Sr. McNew and Reba McNew; and her siblings, George McNew, Jr., Peggy Bailey and Margaret Walker.
She is survived by: her son Phil Petty (Carol); her siblings, Joy Rowan, Bill McNew (Maxine) and Richard McNew; and her close friend Gail Petty.
