She was predeceased by: her mother Nellie Holloway; her former husband James M. Sims (Jack); and her husband Lewis E. Scruggs (Gene). She is survived by: her children, Sharron Yancy (Mark) and Joey Sims (Kathy); her stepchildren, Randy Scruggs (Susan) and Kathy Thompson (Tommy); and her grandchildren, Carly Sims and Jack Sims (Kelsey). She is also survived by great grandchildren.
