It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Marie Bain (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Alexander City, Alabama, who passed away on August 28, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Bain; her parents, Benjamin Futral and Ella Futral; and her siblings, Ruth Bartlett, Elizabeth Manasco, Johnny Futral, Paul Futral and James Futral.

She is survived by: her brother-in-law Robert Manasco; her nieces and nephews, Brian Manasco (Renee), Barry Manasco (Jennifer), Thomas Buchanan, Marie Buchanan, Linda Taylor, Tracie Newberry, Rita Campbell, Shirley Lewis and Terrie Henshaw; and her close friends, Barbara Posey and Jean Foster. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to the Etowah Baptist Missions.
