He was predeceased by: his former wife Myrle A. Green Jackson; and his siblings, Clannie Jackson, Jr., Margaret Jackson Edwards, Estella Jackson, Lucille Jackson, Henrietta Jackson and Rose Lee Jackson.

He is survived by: his children, Loretta Jackson, Jeremiah Jackson Jr. (Culmella) of Calhoun, GA, Gloria Jackson, Wilma D. Jackson March (Karl A.) of Augusta, GA and James Jackson of Rome, GA; and his sisters, Josephine Jackson of Hamilton, OH and Georgia. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
