He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Mae and A. E. "Ed" Brewer; his brother Randy Collins; and his grandparents, Benny, Lillian Allen and Lottie Collins.

He is survived by: his children, Austin Brewer and Lauren Brewer; his grandsons, Beau David Brewer and Archie Ray Brewer; his children, Love and Beverly Floyd; his brother Keith Collins (Mike Brickley); his aunts, Mary Ellen Brewer Asherbranner, Faye Brewer, Shirley Davis and Phyllis Barton; his nephew Brandon Collins; and his nieces, Katlyn Chambers and Randa "Snook" Thompson. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
