He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Horton and Mary Hilton Lee Horton; his siblings, Roderick Horton and Nicole Dixon; and his grandparents, Mary G. Lee and Clarence Lee.
He is survived by: his siblings, Walter Cranfield (Marion) of Virginia Beach, VA, Elaine Bernard (Thomas) of Albertville, AL, Clarissa L. Horton of Gadsden, AL, Tracey Horton Young of Gadsden, AL, Clarence Horton (Errin) of Gadsden, AL, Venus Horton of Gadsden, AL and Eboni N. Marbury of Gadsden, AL; his aunts, Mary Lee of Detroit, MI and Thelma Lee of Petersburg, VA; his cousin Era Vinson (Tim); and his close friends, Betty Calloway, Sylvia Hunt, Valerie Player and Terry Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the West Gadsden Funeral Home (2118 Forrest Ave, Gadsden, AL 35904). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
