He was predeceased by: his parents, JC Goree and Sue Goree; and his brother James Goree. He is survived by: his wife Melba Goree; his children, Marty Goree, Robbie Goree and Cindy Morrow (Greg); and his siblings, Barbara Bruce and Al Goree (Cindy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
