She was predeceased by: her son Tyson; her grandparents, Robert, Sarah Johnson, Columbus and Florence Turner; her parents, Johnnie Lee Johnson Sr. and Essie Ray Johnson; her siblings, Diane Johnson, Bernice Madden, Janice Williams, Collis Madden Jr. and Jimmy Turner; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Robinson and Louis Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Anthony Dewayne Sturdivant Sr.; her siblings, Johnnie Lee Johnson Jr. of Gadsden, Betty Robinson of Gadsden, Theresa Crowder (Lester) of Gadsden, Noressa Thomas of Gadsden, Jannette Madden Harvey of Cartersville and Paulette Ellison (Lewis) of Spring Valley; her mother-in-law Chatmon (Margie Sturdivant); and her siblings-in-law, Kim Harris (Luis) of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Michael Sturdivant (Vera) of Danville, Virginia.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and many dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Handy Chapel A. M. E. Church (901 Rogers St, Gadsden, AL 35901).
