She was predeceased by: her father Edward "Sonny" Cornelius; and her siblings, Barbara Tifner, Kathy Conaway and James Cornelius. She is survived by: her children, Rachael Denise Dietel (Matthew), Andrew Blake McCullars and Lisa Marie Fowler (Jeremy); her mother Veola Kirkland; her brother Larry Ashley; and her cousins, Donna Jo Cornelius and Phillip Cornelius. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rainbow Memorial Gardens (1440 W Grand Ave, Gadsden, AL 35904).
