He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Jeremiah Williams Sr. and Maggie Lean Sherman Williams; his grandparents, Dave, Josephine Williams, Lovan and Ada Goodman Sherman; and his siblings, Shirley Mae Williams and Jeremiah Williams Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Alice Williams; his children, Robert, Chaz, James Williams Jr. and Alma Williams; and his sisters, Virginia Ann Veal of Palmdale, CA, Josie Thomas (Herman) of Compton, CA, Jerline Williams of Rogers, TX and Doretha Williams Godfrey (Chadwick) of Alexandria, LA. He is also survived by many grandchildren; Three brothers.
