He was predeceased by: his parents, Happy Fells and Frances Fells; and his son Dan "Debo" Fells. He is survived by: his spouse Shelby Fells; his daughter Monica Fells; his stepson Nick Novak; his sister Velisa Bailey (Darren); his grandchildren, Darian Handy (Kyle), Jaylon Jenkins, William James Jenkins, Emma, Anna Kate Fells, Skyler and Jaython Novak; and his great grandchildren, Dannon Fells, Oakleigh Evans, Rileigh Kitt and Ledger Handy.
