Clyde Franklin Mackey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Franklin Mackey of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Clyde is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Clyde's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Janice Lee Mackey and Laura Patricia Mackey; and his parents, Clyde Lee and Laura Beatrice Mackey. He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Hand (Ira), Anita Rodgers (Jerry) and Regina Coleman (Mark); and his close friends, Boonie Humphrey and Becky Lowman. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
