He is survived by: his son David Burgess (Michelle); his grandsons, Jeremy Murphree (Destiny) and Cody Burgess (Miranda); his great grandchildren, Henry Burgess, Jaxton Chandler, Ollie Murphree and Hensley Chandler; and his siblings, Randal Burgess, Mack Burgess and Sue Delashaw.
