It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Ruth Woods (Gadsden, Alabama), born in Cedar Bluff, Alabama, who passed away on February 2, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy George Woods; her daughters, Carol Woods Jones and Teresa Eutsey; her siblings, Melinda Smith, Annie L. Covington, Shirley Smith and Robert Lee Smith Jr.; and her grandchildren, Javarious and Champagne Stubbs.
She is survived by: her children, Jeanette Woods, Lori Ann Powell, LaSonya Stubbs (Christopher), Yvonne Sanders (O'Shea), Cassandra Padilla, Panitha Malone, Billy Wayne Woods, Reginald Woods, Cornelius Woods and Avery Chambers (Bobbijo); her sister Margaret D. Lowe; her sisters-in-law, Ruby Dean Woods, Julia Woods, Yvonne Woods, Paula Sims (Torrence), Tammy Woods, Fanny Woods and Jenni Woods; her son-in-law Martin Eutsey; and her close friends, Janice Prater, Ted Gregerson (Tammy), Helen Johnson (S. J.) and John Clayton (Joy). She is also survived by uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many other friends.
