It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burrow D Tilley of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Tilley and Louise Tilley; his brother Jimmy Tilley; and his sons, Burt and Benjamin Tilley.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Wright Tilley; his sister Sandra Lindsey (Steve); his siblings-in-law, Sandra Kay Tilley, Lacy Wright (Gail) and Michael Wright (Karen); his children, Matthew Tilley (Jan), Steven Smith, Kristi Tieg, Kayla Campbell and Terry Haney; and his grandchildren, Kyllan, Ethan, Kayleigh, Steven, Kason, Andrew, Lance, Shyanne, Blake, Logan, Zachary and Sawyer. He is also survived by 4 great granddaughters.
The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to Freedom Church 301 N. 12th Street Gadsden, AL 35901.
