It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Kay Borders of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorene Fortson Honea and Millard Honea; the father of her children Wayne Borders; and her brothers, Randall Honea and Rex Honea.

She is survived by: her son Shane; her daughter-in-law Mitzi Borders of Dothan; her daughter Lea Ann; and her son-in-law Mike Sheheane of Anniston. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
