She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Rains and Ola Rains; her husband Bill Mayfield; and her siblings, Kearnie Starnes, Angie Burgett, Coy Rains, Dabney Rains, Arvil Rains, Edwin Rains, Jimmy Rains and Freeman Rains.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Mayfield and Kim Mayfield; her grandchildren, Andrew Norris and Elise Heald; and her sisters, Ann Duvall, Barbara Gore and Evelyn Mitchell.
