He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Annette Campbell Lett; his parent J. W. Pack Lett; his sister Tommie Lou; his brothers-in-law, Grady Wilson and E. B. Self, Sr.; his niece Edna Ruth Self Dowling; and his nephews, Bobby and Donny Wilson.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jacob, Anna Claire, Micah, Abbi Kate and Daphne Lett; and his sister Johnnie Ruth Self of Pinson, AL..

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alabama Baptist Ministers Benefit Society in Rev. Lett's memory.
