He was predeceased by: his parents, W. O. Vance and Pearl Vance; and his sister Geraldine Vance Johnson. He is survived by: his daughter Kohner Palardy (Dana); his grandson Paul Justin Faulkner (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Paul Kaeden Faulkner and Harper Grace Faulkner; and his siblings, Oscar Jr. Vance (Myra), Robert Steve Vance (Jane) and Betty Vance Stofko (Bill). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to "Friends Who Care" with the Gadsden Animal Clinic (256-459-4481), the family requests only house plants or silk arrangements.
