She is survived by: her sons, Charles Thompson (Kelley) and Mark Thompson (Debbie); her grandchildren, Bart Thompson, Beth Baker, Doug Thompson (Ashley), Charlotte Thompson, Clark Thompson (Stephanie) and Ian (Kelsey); and her caregivers, Cecilia Evans, Theresa Williams, Tracy Miller, Cheri Hudson, Crystal Lawson, Tamela Jones, Breanna Bothwell and Della Guerrero.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1885 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
