It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beryl Toups Odom of Gadsden, Alabama, born in Houma, Louisiana, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her close friend Ronald David Odom; and her parents, Alfred J. Toups, Sr. and Alice Rae Daigle Toups. She is survived by: her children, Laura Odom O'Bryant (Codey) of Gadsden, Ala., Rachel Odom Pierce (Isaac) of Gadsden, Ala. and David Lawrence Odom (Caitlin) of Raleigh, N. C.; her siblings, Bonnie Toups Boudreax, Houma, Alfred J. Toups and Baton Rouge; her sisters-in-law, Diane Odom Lamkin, Ellijay and Patricia Odom White; her mother-in-law Jeanette Powell Noblitt; her godchildren, Molly and Philip; and her granddaughters, Kambrie, Harper Rae and Rebecca.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. James Catholic School, 700 Albert Rains Blvd, Gadsden, Alabama 35901.
