Benson Duncan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2025, at the age of 94, Benson Duncan of Gadsden, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Duncan (Knight); his brother William Bluford Duncan Jr.; his daughter-in-law Yolanda Duncan; and his great great grandchild Baker Kade Beach. He is survived by: his children, Joanne Easterwood (Jimmy), Melissa Abercrombie (Thomas), Connie Arnold, Ellen Holland (Tim) and Scott Duncan; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Scott Easterwood, Carol Easterwood Gaskin, Paul Holland, Stephanie Arnold Downey, LeAnne Holland Buff, Joshua Abercrombie, Brent Arnold, Amanda Duncan Caspar, Sonya Holland, David Abercrombie and Nestor Guzman. He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Williams-Southside Memorial Park (1009 AL-77, Gadsden, AL 35907).
