She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin F. Bowie and Alma P. Bowie; her husband Glim Bateman Jr.; and her sister Beverly Jean Parker. She is survived by: her children, Glim'Tobie'Bateman III (Christi) and Deidra Bateman (Danielle); and her grandchildren, Toryque J. Bateman, DeShayla S. Bateman, Bryce A. Ash and Daratu G. Bateman. She is also survived by cousins, extended family.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the West Gadsden Funeral Home (2118 Forrest Ave, Gadsden, AL 35904).
