She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Luker and Estelle Luker (Melvin Archie Whisenant Sr.); her aunt Rosa Owens; and her children, Melvin Archie Whisenant Jr., Jemichael Whisenant (Jamila), Brian and Bri'Anna Baber.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ja'Lahni Whisenant and Braylon Baber; her siblings, Paul Luker Jr., Bobby Luker (Pamela), Kenneth Luker (Gail), Reginald Luker (Cindy), Renea Luker and Daryl Luker; her godson Sylvester Buckner; and her siblings-in-law, Hubert Looney (Rosyln), Charles Timmons, Eloise Whisenant and Clara Sue Neal. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
