It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Mitchell (Gadsden, Alabama), who passed away on November 8, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas L. Mitchell; and her parents, Odis Williams and Vaulene Williams (Freeman). She is survived by: her children, Terri Zammit (David), Sheila Mitchell, Buddy Mitchell (Terri), Chris Mitchell and Danny Mitchell (Vallie); her grandchildren, Wayne Atha (FeFe Dobson), Jazmen Garner, Carmen Mitchell (Neal), Christine Zammit, Julia Butt (Tyler), Jordan Lipscomb (Blake), Austin Mitchell, Cole Mitchell, Hunter Mitchell, Brianna Mitchell, Nick Petta and Natalie Petta; her brothers, Donnie Williams (Nita) and Russell Williams (Kathi); and her sister-in-law Teresa Alvarez (Mario). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
