Barbara Ann Childress Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Childress of Gadsden, Alabama, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Wayne Childress; her parents, James Hardin, and Evelyn Hardin, Sr.; and her siblings, Pat Tucker, Dot Johnson and Bruce Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Fortenberry (Scott), Deranda Haney (Steven), Christi Wood (Greg), Tanya Roberson (Phillip) and Tiffany Tant (Eric); her siblings, Judy Langley (Tim), Cindy Campbell (Donnie), Jimmy Hardin (Elizabeth) and Wayne Hardin (Cheryl); her caregiver Tiffany Tant; and her granddaughters, Taera Haney, Lucy Baldwin, Highlands, Encompass and Dr. Layla Wren. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers; the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Hospital.
