She was predeceased by: her spouse L. D. Bozeman Sr.; her parents, Frank Sturdivant and Hattie Sturdivant (L. D. Bozeman Sr.); her son Lynn Bozeman; and her brothers, Frank Sturdivant, Willie Sturdivant, Martin Hayes, Steve B. Williams, James Williams and Clifton Ford Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Sheila Bozeman of Gadsden, AL., Teresa Bozeman Veasy of Gadsden, AL., Tallulah B. Cash of Gadsden, AL., Scott Bozeman of Gadsden, AL. and L. D. Bozeman Jr. (Desiree) of Greensboro, NC.; her grandchildren, Tonya Veasy, D'Antonio Bozeman (Dimika), Ashley Lara (Chad), Chad Bozeman (Amanda), Ryan Bozeman (Jonte) and Sarah Bozeman; her siblings, Hattie M. Johnson of Rochester, NY and Chatman Sturdivant (Margie) of Gadsden, AL; her sister-in-law Ethel Sturdivant of Detroit, MI.; and her friends, Ethel Hughley, Robbie Brown Miller, Carolyn Sandridge and Sandra Porter Warren. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
