He is survived by: his wife Mary Saffels; and his siblings, Brenda Higgins, Northene Cofffey (Donald), Laverone Whitten (Dennis), Jessie Saffels, Trecia Smith (Larry), Donna Smith (Chris), Enos Saffels and Farris Saffels. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
