He is survived by: his mother Sharon Grimes; his brothers, Michael Richey and Robert Richey; and his nieces and nephews, Ali Queen, Laila Villas, Gabriella Richey, Lilliana Richey, Micah Richey, Matthew Richey and Riley Villas.

A memorial service will be held in Alabama when it is safe and after Covid 19 restrictions.
