She was predeceased by: her husband James A. "Buddy" Osbirn; her parents, Elmus Emerson and Tessie Williams Emerson; her parents-in-law, Oscar and Reba Wood Osbirn; her brothers, Billy Ray Emerson and Johnie HughDon Emerson; and her sisters-in-law, Nita Emerson and Inez Emerson.

She is survived by: her daughter Sheri Osbirn McFall of Fultondale; her grandson Jeremy; her granddaughter-in-law Tiffany McFall; her great grandchildren, Carson McFall and Kinslee McFall of Hayden, AL.; her daughter Tammy Emerson Rodriguez (Alex) of Miami Springs, FL; her grandchildren, Michael Emerson (Erin) of Collierville, TN and Tessie Maria Rodriguez of Tampa, FL; her brother Edsel Dwade Emerson of Hamilton, AL; and her sister-in-law Gearldean Osbirn Lindsey of Hamilton, AL..
