He is survived by: his wife Leigh Byram Herron; his daughter Rebecca Herron Thomas (Josh); his stepchildren, Emily King (Alex) and Preston Rhoades (Elliana); his grandson Jake Thomas; his mother Linda Tolbert; and his siblings, Virgil Herron and Melissa Welch (Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
